Hello Abaqus users,

Do anybody have experience with two step bolt tightening in Abaqus. For example cylinder head bolt. The first step is Pre-load by force. The second step is to twist angle 1x or 2x by 90 degree. 3D fine thread model is time consuming.

Is possible to use this thread contact function? Do anybody have idea how to do it?
