Thin Film Ultrasonic Transducer model

Hi,

I'm new in this field and also new in Abaqus and I'm trying to do a modal(and harmonic) analysis of a very thin transducer(few hundred microns of thickness) but I have questions about the results:

1. When I do the analysis I get large number of eigenvalues(more than 2000 and 4000) and I was wondering is this normal or not ? I found the vibration mode that I needed but still when increasing the mesh density the result eigenvalues increase as well. I could not find information about this.

2. I understand that in order to run a harmonic analysis you need to select certain frequency intervals and I was wondering what is the criteria for that selection ?
