Structural simulation of copper braided connectors

Hello SIMULIA community,

does anyone know whether it possible to compute mechanical stiffness of flexible electrical copper braided connectors?

I guess the best approach could be a multiscale modeling: main cables are treated as simple cylinders, but every cable is made of multiple wires which should interact internally (between themselves) and externally (with wires of adjacent cables).
Is there anything similar in literature?
