I am modeling the web of an I-Beam with continuum shell elements. In the model I took care to have a correct stack orientation for these elements but when submitting the job the following error rises:

Abaqus was not able to determine the stack direction for the continuum shell defined in element set ErrBadStackDir40. If the model was created in Abaqus/CAE, use the Edit Mesh toolset in Abaqus/CAE to properly orient the stack direction.

As can be seen in the attached figures, the stack orientation should be ok in the region where the problem is, but something is preventing the correct orientation from being identified.

Is there any reason for this to be happening?
