Hello All,
I am trying to simulate a moving deformable body that hits a discrete rigid body which is stationary. I've imported the parts from Solidworks properly using .step, and assembled them and defined the interactions, BCs, and meshes. I've defined the Reference point for the Rigid body.
The rigid body is supported by an another deformable body. I am interested to see the reactions in that support (2nd deformable) that holds the rigid body.
I am using Implicit- Quasi-Static method for this analysis, since the process would take 3 Sec (in a simplest version), but it is running for a long time that I would miss a deadline for the project, and not sure if it would run correctly w/o any errors!
I've even tried to use Dynamic/Explicit method, but still, it would take a long time, and not good for the deadline.
Does anyone have any idea how to speed up the process, or how I can check if the process will be completed w/o errors?
p.s. I tried to simplify the parts as much as possible, and use a good size seeds for the parts (nor course, nor fine)
