Hi everyone,
I am currently trying to simulate a railway bridge via a simple Simbeam unter the standard track-model. I am however running into problems regarding the coupling between track and bridge i.e. the markers for connecting force elements. I am using Marker 82 (because the documentation says: "It is particularly useful for Cmp Force Elements acting on elastic bodies.") However there seem to be numerical instabilities regarding the combination of marker 82, a Simbeam and a moving force -- even without the railtrack.
Does anybody has experience regarding the modelling of movien forces on flexible Bodies? Am i missing something fundamental here?
PS: I am trying to avoid Flextrack as I don't have access to an Abaqus Licence and the computational time would be drastically higher even though I really dont need flexible rails at all.
Any tips would be greatly apreciated!
