simulating PLA Lattice Structure Under Quasi-Static Compression

Hello Dear Researchers,,

I constructed a lattice structure made of polylactic acid (PLA) using a 3D printer and subjected it to quasi-static compression. Subsequently, I performed a uniaxial tensile test to determine the mechanical properties of the material. For simulating the compression test, I utilized Abaqus software.

As observed in the attached force-displacement graph, the slope of the curve in the elastic region for the simulation results (brown-like curve) slightly differs from the experimental results (blue curve).

I modeled the structure in 2D, assigned elastic and plastic properties to it, and used the dynamic implicit solver. The mesh convergence was checked using CPE4R elements.

What modifications should I make to the simulation to minimize the gradient difference in the elastic region between the results?

I would greatly appreciate it if esteemed researchers could provide guidance regarding this issue.
