Hello SIMPACK community,

I am conducting a free decay test of a fixed wind turbine, by applying a initial displacement condition of 1m on the top of tower in the y-axis. I have noticed that the eigen modes of my tower have an initial displacement and initial pre-load force, which is calculated by the equilibrium solver and pre load solver. After my initial displacement of 1m the position changes.

I noticed that the position and pre load forces affect the free decay of the wind turbine structure. I'm curious to know  what should be the optimum value of both these parameters so that there is decay in both the directions X and Y.

Appreciate any kind of help in this matter.
