Hello,
I am a student working on a project that involves measuring the strain at certain points on a car rim. I created the rim with the software Ansa as FEM model and the solver Permas created the .fbi file to import into Simpack . The import works, but when I want to measure the strain at a node with a result element during offline simulation, Simpack shows the error message:
"FATAL: The following error occured during preprocessing of the flexible body '\\\$S_Felge_VR.\\\$B_Audi_Felge':
Cannot read stress data. Please provide stress data either in the fbi file or in the stress file.
Reading stress from the .fbi file failed with the following errors:
Fbi files H:\\Daten\\Uni\\Master_FernUni\\Masterthesis\\Sim-Pack\\mbs3v2_mod_post.fbi
don't contain stress data.
Reading stress from the .stress file failed with the following errors:
Cannot open stress file H:\\Daten\\Uni\\Master_FernUni\\Masterthesis\\Sim-Pack\\PKW-Sim\\main_model\\output/v04_c_CAR_Messfelge_flexible_rbe_innen_aussenring_combined_CDTire30-S_Felge_VR.B_Audi_Felge.stress.
Please add an according .stress file in the results directory.
FATAL: Evaluation (calc task 0) of Result Element
\\\$S_Felge_VR.\\\$RS_DMS1:
Cannot access stress / strain matrix: Cannot access stress / strain data"
How can I create the missing stress file?
I tried to use the input deck to generate the stress file, but only the solver Abaqus, Ansys, NX Nastran and MSC Nastran are supported.
The other option I found is the fbi generator, but it doesn`t work either.
Is there a way to create the .stress file in Simpack with the Permas solver?
thanks for your help.
