I am using Abaqus for biomechanical simulations. In particular, I need to model the humerus as a rigid body, with a center of mass and a local reference system (the center of mass and the origin of this system do not coincide). How can I set up a rigid body constraint?
I define the rigid body constraint between the body (humerus) and a reference point (center of mass), where I specify the mass and inertia. However, I want to move the rigid body relative to the local reference system, so I would like to apply boundary conditions at the origin of this local system. How can I do that?
