Restart a simulation with deformed geometry

Hello,

I am working on a modal analysis problem in abaqus, i am studying the mode shapes of a vertical beam deflected by a wire under tension("initial_geometry.png"). My project is decomposed in two steps:
-A first one where I apply a pretension in my cable with an axial connector (see "first_step.png').It is defined between the end of my wire and a fixed reference point located on the ground. After, i use the connector displacement BC to shrink the axial connector and apply a tension in my wire.

-A second one where i compute the mode shapes of the whole model.

My problem is the following. After the pretension step, my axial connector has a length equal to 0. But when I run the modal analysis, it is not constrained anymore (see "problem.png") and its length can increase. I would like, before my modal analysis, to fix the point located at the end of my wire under tension. It would also work to fixed the connector displacement before the modal analysis.

When I try to define a displacement BC (or connector displacement BC) taking effect after the pretension step, the solver is not able to run the modal analysis. I also tried to use a restart computation but it did not work. Do you see a way to restart my computation from my predeformed ( and prestressed ) geometry with a new BC fixing the point a the end of the wire ?
