I am using a solid composite layup with 3 plies each 2mm thick. Part is 6mm thick. So in reletive element thickness each thickness should be same i.e.2mm or it 1/no of plies which becomes 0.5.

SO Reletive element thickness for each  ply should be 0.5mm or 2mm?
