As to my knowledge it is not possible to apply the reference mesh initial conditions in Abaqus when one is using parts and instances. It always gives me some errors like : "***ERROR: Unknown global id: xxx (first referenced node number)".

When I'm doing my model without parts and instances it doesn't complain.

Does anyone know why it is the case and if it will be resolved in future versions of Abaqus?
