Hello,
I have two questions regarding the SIMPACK realtime solver:
- According to the documentation, the solver is made for a Linux realtime operating system. However, I managed to start it on Windows 11 and, in addition, some targets are explicitly available on Win64 as well; does the solver run on Windows too?
- It is possible to show animation of the realtime solver in SIMPACK Pre, again according to the documentation. I found settings for that in the Solver Settings -> Realtime. However, the button for Realtime Animation under the top blue bar in the category Solver is greyed out. Is it possible to show the animation in SIMPACK Pre?
If not, is there an easy way that does not rely on non-free 3rd party software? - The documentation states that a realtime Co-Simulation with MATLAB requires S-Function export instead of SIMAT. However, I can start the realtime solver with SIMAT. Is this a valid approach?
Thank You
