Hi all. 

I'm doing ABAQUS thermal and mechanical analysis of the first wall of a fusion reactor for my undergrad project. I have faced some serious (or weird) issues that I couldn't solve. Please help.😟 

Just like the reference papers, I've applied a 20 MW/m^2 heat flux at the top surface and cooling (negative flux) at the coolant tube surface. Other reference papers had a maximum temp from NT11 of about 2000~, whereas mine was around 5000 with almost the same settings. So I tried to suppress the cooling flux load to check if my cooling is working at all, but there was no difference at all to my temperature values. 

Can you experts please help where the problem has been caused? Are there any reasons why the surface film condition (or negative heat flux) might not work as expected?
