I have a question regarding the application of pressure loads in ABAQUS, specifically in the context of planar bodies.
When I apply a pressure load on the edge of a planar body, should I interpret this pressure as having units of load per unit length, or does it remain as load per unit area? I’m particularly interested in how the "Plane strain/stress thickness" value interacts with the pressure load when defining the section properties.
Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated!
