Hi Abaqus users:

I am importing Parts from Catia V5 to Abaqus and these parts have different lines partitioning it that define different cells in the geometry. My Problem is that when I import these parts in Abaqus, the program does not recognize the different cells and takes the whole geometry as one cell (Despite that the lines appear and the program recognises the faces etc.). I want to save time by avoiding a new definition of the partitions in Abaqus again. What should I do in Abaqus or in Catia to achieve that Abaqus take the partitioned geometry.
