Dear Abaqus users, I have a problem modelling contact between shells.

I have a simple model : a cylindrical object falling on a plate. These two parts are modelled as shells, and the meshed surfaces are parallel.

I try to simulate the fact that, when there is contact between the two parts, the falling object stops falling, and do not penetrate in the plate, as it is the case now.

The objective of this simulation is to correctly model the contact between these two parts, to be applied in a more complex structure where all the parts are modelled with shells. That is why I have to use general contact in Abaqus/Explicit.

Can someone help me ?
