I want to perform seismic analysis on retaining wall on the same model on which I have performed static analysis. In simple terms initially I have run the model in static condition by giving wall a displacement of 40mm and now I want to give the earthquake motion at this displaced condition of the wall. My model contains infinite elements in backfill and foundation soil. How should I proceed for this problem so that I can import the stresses obtained in static condition and then apply seismic loading to obtain the results as a combination of static and earthquake loading. Please help me into this as this is my dissertation work.
