Abaqus I am trying to output some parameters from a model I have in Abaqus, and am looking for some support in how to do this. 

I have a linear model of a bone (imagine a cylindrical shape-ish) and I have loaded the bottom of the model in the z-direction using 12N load by applying this to a control node which is coupled with a layer of nodes on the bottom surface of the model. I have then constrained the top layer of nodes in x, y and z. The model runs fine.

I then output the nodal displacement (U), reaction forces (RF), concentrated forces (CF), and the element strains and stresses. The outputs are all as expected, except the CF. For this parameter, the output is 0 for every node, except the control node where the output is 12 in the z-direction, and 0 in the x and y directions. I do not understand why this is the case. 

I am trying to output the internal forces after running the whole bone model so that I can run a cropped section of the model (a section of the bone), using the CF outputs as the boundary conditions for the section model (it is a linear model, so this should work). 

If any more detail is required, please let me know. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated - or any suggestions of a different method to achieve the same section model! Thank you :-)
