I need to know how can I optimize the number of CPU cores for my simulation run in ABAQUS? is there a formula to calculate this issue?

for example I receive better result when I configure the run using 6 cores (intel core i7) rather than 8 cores. Why is this happening?

My simulation scenario is using a solid mesh with cubic-CA4R, consists of 22400 element each with 8 nodes.

I'm using  Dynamic Explicit with the algorithm in domain mode.
