Hello,
Opera-3d modeller is a powerful tool to build geometry, such as cylinder, block, sphere, etc.
However, for some irregular geometry, especially for the geometries with smooth borders, I feel it is hard to build.
For example, I calculated and got a series of boundary points, (x1,y1), (x2,y2), (x3,y3), (x4,y4), (x5,y5), (x6,y6), (x7,y7), (x8,y8),
and use the "create a wire-edge" toolbutton to generate the geometry, the result is:
Unfortunately, the resulting geometry is made up of polylines, not the smooth curve I expected.
In opera-3d modeller, is there anyway to get a smooth curve using the given points? Like the curve fitting in matlab.
Best regards.
