Hi Good morning to all, i am facing a problem in Abaqus CAE like this, there are two part instances whose profiles are circular and hexagonal, there beam cross section is rectangle and are different for each. When i activated render beam profile am able to see just like images above. My doubt is why circular part instance render beam profile also look as polygonal shape instead of circular.

Second question is in designing of shell and stiffener, i read about offsetting of shell elements but how to offset a beam cross section to a certain distance from shell element mid plane,i didnt find this option while defining creating beam cross section, where can i find this option in Abaqus CAE?
