Hi all,

I am a student in University of Manchester and modelling a reinfoced concrete slab in abaus is part of my dissertation. Can anyone please give me the steps to model the reinfocement inside the concrete?

I tryed to use the embedded regoin but it takes more than 18 hour to run the model.. 

I need to model the rebars in the concrete in the easiest way just to add the behavior of the inelastcity of the steel inside the concrete. I am not going to study the steel itself..

Please who answer my question.. I need the excat steps for modelling the rebars..
