I am trying to do a dynamic analysis on a viscoelastic damper by Abaqus software and have some problem in definition of viscoelastic

material. I have defined the viscoelastic properties through Prony series coefficients in frequency domain. But, the result does not

seems correct as the energy dissipated by the damper is very low. I guess that there are some problems in definition of the material.

Is there anyone who has modeled viscoelastic material before? If yes, I can send the model and we can discuss more on it.

I am really appreciated if someone can help me.
