Dears,

I am new to Abaqus and trying to model composite cantilever beam using solid section having point load on one end and constrained on the other. The material  used in my analysis is unidirectional E-Glass/Epoxy which is considered as lamina with elastic material model. I find difficulty in locating point load at one end. Analysis was attempted using pressure load and it aborted with message that elastic lamina should not be used in solid section. Anyones help on how to locate point load and material modeling is highly acknowledged.
