Hi everyone,

I'm beginner in Abaqus so please forgive me If I'm asking stupid questions. I tried to find solution here, unfortunately I didn't find anything helpful.

I'm writing now my MA Thesis. It's about stresses in surface layer of superalloy Inconel 718 after milling. If anyone of you knows if it's possible to simulate this in Abaqus?

I've already prepared simulation model, added boundary condition, created and submitted job. Simulation is running, there's no errors but after all when job is completed, I try to visualize results, unfortunately there's no stresses in surface layer, strange....

Do you know how to figured out or do you have any tutorial how to prepare proper milling simulation model?
