Hello, I'm modeling a membrane for FSI (co-simulation with Abaqus Standard & CFD).
Abaqus User Guide says:
For an Abaqus/CFD analysis involved in a fluid-structure interaction with shells/membranes, a seam defines a zero-thickness shell in the mesh. You can create a double-sided surface that represents the seam and select that surface as the boundary region.
In Abaqus CFD, the zero-thickness shell/seam could be meshed double noded in one surface.
While I don't know how to define a double-sided membrane in Abaqus Standard/Explicit. There're only one layer of nodes on the membrane and that won't work for co-simulation mapping process.
Could you help me?
Thank you!
Zilu
