I have downloaded the zip file for Abaqus student version and followed the steps in the guide. The second step is to verify the integrity of the downloaded media, which ends with a FAILED status and a report in XML. If I pursue the installation it works, but I noticed that my version does not allow me to open IGES, STEP nor ACIS files, whereas a colleague with the full license of the software can. The previous student version (2016) never showed any issues with imported files. Is there an issue with missing files in the zip folder I am downloading? Or is there a bug in the newer versions of the software (2017, 2018)?
