Dear all,

We have two complex 3D parts, that were created together with complementary shapes and then imported into abaqus.

What is a reliable way in Abaqus CAE to create matching ie identical nodal positions on the surfaces of two parts?

A nice way would be to unify the two parts, mesh the whole body and afterwards divide them up again. But I have trouble doing this in Abaqus.

Any help is highly appreciated.
