Hello everyone,

I want so simulate a beam in a 2D explicit simulation in ABAQUS 2020, that is fixed on one side and gets a force on the other side, like shown in the picture. Can the deflection of the beam be limited, so that it would use the walls beside as support? The beam is defined as a generalized profile so it has a certain hight. Can that hight also be concidered when using the walls as support?
