I am currently working with the implemented version of LaRC05 in Abaqus 2023.

I have a doubt regarding the value of the fracture toughness for the Splitting failure index.

For the rest of the failure indexes there is clear information:

     Gic matrix: Mode I

     Giic matrix: Mode II

     Gic fiber tension: Fiber Tension

     Giic fiber kinking: Fiber Kinking

But, how to address the Splitting failure mode? I mean, the necessary value of fracture toughness to assess damage evolution.
