I am modelling an Euler-column in Abaqus. I use two models:

model 1-get first buckling form through a linear pertubation step.

model 2-use result from model 2 via "edit keywords" as an imperfection shape, and find displacement at midspan for a given axial load.

I want to use Isigh to find for which axial load the column will fail. I use two abaqus components, and Hooke-Jeeves optimalization, with varying axial load in model 2. Needless to say, this is not working yet. How can I ensure model 2 getting the 1st buckling mode from model 1 in Isight?
