I have a simple model (ductile damage, plasticity, implicit dynamic) and applied it to a small rectangle with a hole in the middle (left side fixed, right side displacement).

When looking at the energies, I observed a drop in the total energy once fracture occurs. The attached graphic shows all energies that are not zero.

Max degredation is set to 0.99 and element deletion is on.

Is this due to the energy that is dissipated during the damage process (I am not sure if that is supposed to be included in ALLPD)?
