Integration of 2D nonlinear stiffness matrix into Abaqus

Hello! I’m seeking expert advice. I’m a doctoral student using Abaqus for my research and I’m interested in defining new 2D strains (a vector with 8 components) for an element. Additionally, I want to integrate a derived 2D non-linear stiffness matrix (with 8 rows and 8 columns) into Abaqus solver and solve several boundary value problems.

In essence, I aim to define new 2D strains and incorporate a derived 2D non-linear stiffness matrix into Abaqus to address plate and shell problems. Any guidance or direction on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.
