I have performed a 3D dynamic/explicit simulation of single-grit grinding on a 300 µm workpiece (time period = 0.009875 s).
At t = 0.00252 s, I intend to extract the stress, strain, and temperature fields from the hatched (yellow) 100 µm region and use them as initial conditions for another single-grit grinding simulation on a 100 µm workpiece.
material properties, grit geometry, and element type(C3D8RT, for workpiece) are the same.
How can I do this? And what are the ways to do this?
