Hybrid Solver - Very Slow Farfield plot generation and export

Hello All,

I'm currently analysing an offset Gregorian type reflector antenna using the Uni-directional Advanced Hybrid solver task.

My issue is that the 3d farfield generation for the Hybrid task takes extremely long in certain cases (+/- 30 mins for a single excitation at one specific frequency). However, this only seems to happen when there are many frequency points. For example, if I look at 5 frequency points across the band, then the farfield generation only takes 10 - 20 seconds. The *_ffm.fie and *.sol results file sizes (around 158 MB and 5 MB respectively) do not change when the number of frequency points are increased, so I'm not quite sure why the additional points are causing the massive increase in farfield calculation time.

Does anybody know why this might be happening, and if there's a way to speed up the process?

Any general advice or tips would also be appreciated.

Thanks!

Michael
