How to use the Effective Heat Capacity Method to model the evaporation of water content from a Board material in a heat transfer analysis.

I am trying to solve a 1D Heat Transfer with Moisture Evaporation validation problem. The problem involves a 16cm thick and 1cm high Wall with 10% water content by mass. How do I calculate the "Effective Heat Capacity" of the wall material due to the 10% water content to model the evaporation of water in Abaqus. The dry wall material and water density and specific heat capacities are given, as well as the liquidis and soludis temps for the water and latent heat of evaporation.
