Hello, I am trying to use the REF NODE MOTION option for *INTEGRATED OUTPUT SECTION to have the reference point follow the average rotation and translation of the section. I use a history output to see the rotations and translations of the reference point (which are the average of the section). But when I set this up in ABAQUS and run the simulation, the rotations and translations of the reference node are always zero. 
The attached image shows the steel bar, with the section output surface at the midspan of the bar, and the reference point that is moved to the section.
