I have two parts (150x25 mm) solid section, thickness 10mm joined by contact pair friction- 0.5 resting one over other. The lower part bottom edge is fixed (encastre). 150 N of the load is acting on the upper part top edge in -Y direction and I have to excite the model in the X-direction. For this I have created 3 steps: a) Static- for 150 N loading. b) Modal analysis. c) Steady-state dynamics- displacement base motion. But the issue is Modal and Steady-state dynamics are perturbation steps so the effect of 150 N is not propagated. Moreover, modal analysis is linear- contact is not working in this. Please suggest to me how I can model this case?
