Hello abaqus users,

I am trying to analyse anisotropic frictional behavior in Twill fabric textile. I am assuming different coefficient of friction in longitudinal and transverse direction of yarns and then applying kinematic displacement to the model to give shear load. I believe I should use elliptical friction model as in Explicit documentation to write VFRICTION. The picture attached will give you an idea how the deformation looks like.

I ran VFRICTION with basic coulomb friction with zero errors. I am facing problems in writing for anisotropic friction model as it has two directions and must be resultant friction coefficient. I must analyse the angle of deformation as well. I need your help.
