I need your help again. In the past 2 weeks, I have been exploring different ways to do a restart with changing material properties. It is well known that for the typical restart, the material properties can not be changed. In order to change material properties, I have to use different ways. Currently, I have tried the below ways:

1. using *Import : it failed since pore pressure element is not supported

2. using import part from odb then read odb for initial conditions: It failed due to issues with void ratio importing. 

3. method 2+ Map Solution for the initial condition: using map solution, I can get all the variables from old odb into the new imported part mesh as an initial condition correctly.  However, the final result doesn't seem correct. I like to confirm with you guys if this approach will work correctly based on your experience? or how to make it work?
