In linear dynamics, there are many ways to define damping property. For example, we can define damping via material, element, modal and even global property.

However, I'm curious about how to define damping property to perform energy dissipation mechanism in Abaqus/Explicit. I know that bulk viscosity has been used in Abaqus/Explicit to perform energy dissipation. If I have damping property from lab, let's say damping ratio is 0.03. How to set up damping ratio in Abaqus/Explicit? Thanks!
