hi, here i am using ABAQUS/Explicit 2024ver. 

the compressive simulation model which including rigid body (sphere/cube), polymer film and test jig(aluminum).

rigid body has encastre condition, and polymer film has tie* condition with the jig, and rigid body is compressed by 2 jig from up/down side.

i want to see the strain on polymer films which stress concentration occur.

also, i used user subroutine: vumat.

when i run this model, excessive distortion error is shown, but it has tiny deformation (LE < 0.05)

of course i ran other cases; check the material properties, controlling contact, force(x0.1 ~ x10), displacement condition, and so on.
