I have imported a STEP assembly modeled in Solidworks into the 3DExperience Linear Structural Scenario/Simulia environment to perform analysis, and have 2 questions about organization in the file tree on the left.

1: I have created user sets (see picture attached) to keep track of the FEA representations of the components in the assembly, since there are many components. However, I have not figured out any way to group the Shapes (physical products/3DShapes) themselves, which makes sorting through the shapes as I create contact sets tedious. Is there a work-around for this to similarly group shapes as I have for FEA representations, to help with manual contact set generation?

2: Also related to contact set generation: when I right-click on a component in the assembly in the UI and select "hide", the lowest-level 3D shape becomes hidden (see screenshot, in this case "Boss-Extrude3"); but selecting show/hide Shapes in the Visibility Manager toggles the visibility of the highest-level Product (in this case, "LoadCellDummy"). So, I cannot right-click to hide an object and then re-show with the visibility manager; I must go into the tree on the left and expand every hidden object to re-show once it is hidden. Is there a work-around for this? My main goal here is to manually create Connections more quickly, without needing to sort through a long list of components every time I want to select a contact surface and then hide to select the surface on the other side. Maybe there is an option to toggle transparency that would avoid this issue?
