In CATIA V5 Generative Structural Analysis, I use the Global Error Rate (%) and Error in Energy sensors to evaluate the accuracy and convergence of an FEA solution during mesh refinement.

The recommended CATIA V5 workflow allows the analyst to monitor these values together with the local error distribution and progressively refine the mesh until an acceptable solution is obtained.

I am currently working with the Structural Scenario Creation and Linear Structural Scenario Creation apps in 3DEXPERIENCE, but I have not been able to find equivalent parameters/results.

Is it possible to display or calculate the following quantities in these 3DEXPERIENCE simulation apps?

• Global Error Rate (%)
• Error in Energy
• optionally, an equivalent Local Error Distribution

If these quantities are not available in 3DEXPERIENCE, what is the recommended method for evaluating mesh convergence and the numerical accuracy of the FEA results?

I would like to establish a reliable criterion for determining whether the mesh is sufficiently refined and the calculated stress/displacement results can be considered converged.
