Hello All,

I am running a fracture analysis using a 3D model. I am using the countour integrals method. I have my crack front and crack line define and my normal vectors.

The analysis runs for TYPE=J, which is the default analysis.

But it fails when I switch the type to TYPE=K FACTORS with the following error:

abaqus ***ERROR: THE ELASTIC PROPERTIES HAVE NOT BEEN EXTRACTED SUCCESSFULLY FOR THE CONTOUR INTEGRAL CALCULATION OF K FACTORS. THE OPTIONAL PARAMETER "SYMM" MIGHT BE MISSING

Has anyone experienced this before?
