Hello everyone,
I'm relatively new to using Simulia for fluid simulations, and I'm encountering difficulty simulating a fan within a system.
I'm attempting to simulate multiple fans within a complex model, where the fans are positioned inside the model.I tried using the "fan interface" option on a simple model as a test, but I haven't been able to get it to work successfully. Each time, I encounter an error message:
[The fan interface “Interface de ventilateur1” is not found.
Erreur: The 3dsflow solver has not been able to execute or has exited with an error. 3dsflow error: 3dsflow analysis exited with an error.].
Here are the details of my model:
Geometry: 300 mm diameter hollow cylinder with a 20 mm diameter fan inside.
Volumetric flow rate on one end of the cylinder: 1 m³/s
Outlet pressure on the other end: 0 N/m²
Fan interface settings: Pressure drop of 5 N/m²
Mesh size: Maximum 5 mm, minimum 0.5 mm
Despite these settings, I'm still unable to identify what's causing the issue. The mesh seems to be fine, and the fan geometry is not meshed, which I think is the good thing for a fan interface?
Could anyone provide assistance with this problem?
Thank you very much for your help!
