I would like to obtain the mode I and II strain energy release rate(SERR) from contour integral.  The J-integral gives me the total SERR from the crack but I would like to examine the SERR from the individual modes.  My problem is complicated in that I am using an anisotropic elastic material.  As a result, the standard method of converting from stress intensity to SERR for the individual modes is inaccurate.  I am aware that the interaction or M integral gives me correct values for stress intensity in anisotropic materials but would still like to examine the SERR of the mixed mode crack.
