Dear all, 

I am trying to extract a customised nodal variable (i..e nodal shear stress * displacement) from ODB file for each frame. I realised the stress is an elemental value so that only elemental stress or stress values on each corner of each element can be directly exported. thus, the later case needs some collecting and averaging calculations to obtain the true nodal stress. 

i wonder if there is a way to obtain the customised nodal variable for each frame through a script instead of doing it manually one frame by one through visualisation tab.
